My name is Michelle Melchers and I would like to tell you more about my background and coaching style. I have always been interested in human behavior and personal development. Why do we do what we do? What drives us? And what is a ‘happy life’? Based on this interest, I studied Sociology, with a minor in Criminology and a master’s degree in Youth Studies.
By now I have over 10 years of work experience in different types of research, with a focus on human behaviour: from investigating delay factors in juvenile criminal law cases at the Public Prosecution Service, to researching web behavior and customer wishes at KLM. I have worked both in the Netherlands and abroad, both in a team and as a team leader.
The common thread through my career is that I like to get to the bottom of things. I get energy from creating insights, making connections and researching how something can be improved. People I have worked with describe me as analytical, result-oriented and sharp. But also as social, warm and accessible.
